The world famous Jumeirah
Hotel Group which includes the world's only
7 star property, Dubai's Burj al Arab, recently
sent a team of their key executives to visit
Ireland and experience the tourism product.
Their short visit included a night at Glenlo
Abbey Hotel where they were hosted by John
& Brian Bourke, Siobhan Maher, General Manager
and other colleagues.In association with
Fáilte Ireland, the premise of the visit
was in line with observing and learning
about Quality & Excellence within the Irish
Tourism Product.
Mr. Gerald Lawless, a native
son of Galway, is the CEO of the Jumeirah
Hotel Group and is based in Dubai. His company's
portfolio includes properties all over the
world including most recently Shanghai and
New York. The Jumeirah Hotel Group and Dubai,
in partnership, are fast becoming the most
exciting thing to happen to world tourism
in twenty years and Glenlo Abbey were delighted
to welcome members of its elite team.
